In an effort to tune out the chatter and focus on his play, Oubre stopped using social media outside of an occasional Instagram story. Meditation became an even more vital part of his daily routine. When he had a few minutes, Oubre would put on beats and concentrate on his breathing.
In those moments, his stresses dissolved into low-frequency music. This is a method Oubre adopted while he was mired in a rough shooting stretch during his second season with the Wizards in 2016. His trainer had told him that, to find success in the NBA, he needed to put as much energy into his mental health as his physical well-being.
원래도 명상을 했는데 개인적으로도 골치아픈 일이 있기도 했고 슈팅 슬럼프가 길어지면서 올해 명상은 더 중요했다고 합니다.
