Scotto: Jerami Grant could’ve extended with Portland for roughly $113 million over four years, but he’s not expected to go that route and will become one of the top unrestricted free agents on the market this summer. What’s interesting to me is where his value lies. If you’re looking at passing on that extension, you’re essentially thinking he’s going to be above $30 million annually. If that’s the case, does he fall in the $35 million range? What’s the sweet spot number for Grant while you’re trying to build around Lillard and retaining Grant as a core piece? Is it in the $30-35 million annual range? I think it’s in that range somewhere.

Highkin: I think it’s going to come in right around $30 million. That extension he’s eligible for was right around $27-28 million he turned down. The reason he turned down the extension was because he could get a fifth year and more money per year as a free agent. I think it’s going to come out around five years, $150 million, with probably a player option.
